Writing Cheques your Government (and banks) Cannot Cash
On 21st February 2022, Justin Trudeau, Canada's New World Order flim-flam man invoked the Emergency Act in a desperate effort to end the Truckers Protest. For Trudeau, such an extreme and unprecedented step was necessary because his government had refused all meetings and negotiations with the protestors, which meant the protests were unsolvable. Not that Trudeau would ever have been able to negotiate in good faith with the protesters as from the outside he had done nothing other than slander them as misogynists, white supremacists, Nazis and transphobes. The Emergency Act was originally established to replace the War Powers Act and was intended to be used only in an existential crisis where the state itself was threatened, such as during a war or invasion. Obviously from Trudeau's perspective, any threat to his image is existential for him as 'image' is the only thing he has. He was supported in this move by Canada's neo-Nazi Banderist foreign minister, Chrystia Freeland (left side in the photo above). Interesting biographical note - Chrystia Freeland's grandfather was the Ukrainian Nazi puppet government's propaganda minister during Second World War. Freeland openly shares her grandfather's anti-communist, anti-Russian antipathy. Trudeau handed over to Freeland the articulation of the Emergency Act powers, which she clearly relished. Freeland advised that under the Emergency Act all banks and financial institutions were tasked to identify and seize the bank accounts of anyone involved in the "illegal" protests, or supporting the protests.
In order for the government to formally invoke the Emergency Act powers, a debate must be held in parliament, but obtaining authorisation was not a given. The opposition in parliament has been openly critical of the prime minister's handling of both Covid and the protests. In order to avoid having to face opposition in parliament, the Trudeau regime shut down the debate, citing the invocation of the Emergency Act in order to stop debate of the Emergency Act. Police, military and hired thugs in Nazi uniforms - sorry, I mean ultra-militarized NEO-Nazi police then proceeded to arrest the protest leaders and tow out the trucks. Protest leaders have been denied bail and are being held in conditions similar to the treatment of terrorist leaders.
Internationally there was the predictable but tepid political backlash across the media of the world, expressing 'disappointment' with the misuse of these openly dictatorial powers. After the back of the protest was broken, parliament was recalled and required debate was held. It was a close run thing with almost 50% of parliamentarians opposing the use of the Emergency Act. The use of the Emergency Act was passed by a slender margin, but as the required consultation with the provinces had not occurred, several provinces initiated constitutional court challenges to Trudeau's exercise of the Act.
And then, just like that, on Thursday 24th February after less than four days, Trudeau announces the revocation of the Emergency Act powers. Why? The clues are right there in the speech by Oberfuhrer Freeland. The big stick the government wielded was financial - the warrant-less seizure not only of the protesters bank accounts, but the bank accounts of those Canadians who donated to the cause. While many people may have brushed off Freeland's comment at the time with a "they'll never actually do that", the shifty-eyed interim police Chief, Steve Bell, torpedoed any such illusions of a return to normality when he declared that police will activity pursue and charge everyone involved in the protest, even those who voluntarily withdrew when requested to by police.
"If you are involved in this protest, we will actively look to identify you and follow up with financial sanctions and criminal charges. This investigation will go on for months to come ... we will hold people accountable for taking our streets over."
Financial confiscation is certainly part of the plan of the World Economic Forum - how else can they ensure you will own nothing - but Freeland and Bell's exuberant embrace of this power constituted an own goal of epic proportion for it started an immediate run on Canada's banks as people rushed to withdraw their savings. In the same way as politicians need people to vote for them, banks need to people to trust them with their money. If you tell them to their face that you're basically going to steal their money right out of their accounts, what do you think they are going do? And once again, in trying to reinforce elite power, they expose their fundamental weakness.
