I must admit, the Russian Special Military Operation has not progressed the way I originally expected. I had believed the SMO would be a much quicker, much more brutal and decisive affair with the Russians simply smashing every Ukrainian military facility in a smouldering ruin and then rolling across the country in a blitzkreig with the Americans and Europeans standing stunned on the sideline holding their dicks. The Russian General Staff however know a lot more about war than some guy sitting at his computer on the other side of the world. No, their plan is logical and showcases the depth of Russian planning. This is why so many western military observers are confounded.
Russia continues its strategy of grinding down Ukrainian forces along the contact line. Ukrainians are well dug in so their positions are simply pounded with artillery until they break, then the Russians advance and repeat the process. It’s slow but steady and, despite western claims to the contrary, is logical and effective. Time is on Russia’s side in this matter. In fact, it’s part of the strategy.
As Russia grinds its way forward, destroying the last remaining stocks of Ukrainian weaponry, the US and NATO have been scouring their arsenals for weapons and shipping them to Ukraine, where the Russians destroy them. With great fanfare the US has sent four HIMARS multiple rocket systems to Ukraine. FOUR. Ukraine started the war with thousands of pieces of artillery, MRLS and short ranged ballistic missiles. Most of this has been destroyed and ammunition for the remainder is quickly running out. If the Americans believe they can ‘degrade Russian offensive capability’ with four HIMARS, they are deranged. The Russian MoD have already claimed to have destroyed two of these. The amount of artillery Ukraine is demanding exceeds Europe and America current capacity. The so-called west’s 'arsenal of democracy’ is being dissipated.
Ukraine’s looming defeat can scarcely be denied. The Ukrainians themselves admit losses of 500-600 soldiers killed a day. It’s probably much more. Such catastrophic losses will continue as long as the Ukrainians insist on defending every inch of territory (remember Fredrich the Great) and the US prevents them from negotiating a ceasefire. No amount of western arms, thrust with alacricity into the hands of green conscripts, will change the military outcome - other than increasing the numbers of dead. We are already seeing the gradual collapse of Ukrainian forces in Severodonetsk and Lysychansk. It is only a matter of time before that front collapses and the front moves to the Sloviansk - Kramatorsk - Horlovka line.
The panic in western capitals is evidenced by the frantic and disorderly attempts at escalation. In Berlin, Paris and London politicians and generals talk openly of preparing for a land war against Russia. With what? NATO as a military force is a paper tiger.
Of course, all this tough talk may just be that, but stupid talk like this starts wars.
In an extremely provocative move, NATO lapdog, Lithuania, has blocked Russia’s rail link to the Kallingrad enclave. Kallingrad, a port city on the Baltic coast was formerly Prussian Konigsberg. The Soviet Union annexed Konigsberg in 1945 and expelled the German population. After the Baltic states of Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania declared independence in 1990, Kallingrad found itself cut off from mainland Russia. As a condition of independence, Lithuania guaranteed Russia unfettered road and rail access to Kallingrad.
The Lithuanians, who have long been an outspoken opponent of Russia, have claimed that they are simply enforcing EU sanctions, but this represents a sharp escalation on the EUs part. The Russians take treaty obligations extremely seriously and this breach of Lithuania’s treaty obligations has drawn a sharp diplomatic response. The Russians have declared the move a blockade and are considering options. Kallingrad can be supplied by sea in the interim.
Foreign Policy magazine in the US applauded the move and suggested that US, NATO and Polish troops should be stationed in the Suwalki Corridor, the 70 kilometre gap between the borders of Lithuania, Poland, Belarus and Kallingrad. How anyone thinks that a battalion or two of US or NATO forces could stop the Russians if they chose to force the matter is anyone’s guess. The Russians are working across Ukraine carefully. At the end of the SMO, Russians and Ukrainians need to live together again in peace. The Russians have no such concerns for the Lithuanians and Poles. One Kinzhal and….
Clown World
Europe’s idiocy aside, the Biden regime, having failed at every venture, is flailing around the world picking more fights it has no hope of winning. US troops in Syria have become increasingly active. Both the Syrians and Russians have been applying pressure to keep them in their box, resulting in bed-wetting complaints from the Pentagon about ‘risks.’
As if the tensions with China weren’t already high enough, Biden himself declared the US would militarily support Taiwan’s independence. The Chinese already view Taiwan as a trojan horse and firmly declared China would intervene militarily. Both the White House and Pentagon walked back Biden’s senile yabberings, but we all know he was stating the truth. With their Ukraine strategy falling apart, the Bidenistas want to have another shot in Taiwan. https://covertactionmagazine.com/2022/06/08/joe-bidens-saber-rattling-threatens-world-war-iii-with-china-and-russia/
Clearly no one in the west reads history any more.
Rule 1, on page 1 of the book of war, is: "Do not march on Moscow". Various people have tried it, Napoleon and Hitler, and it is no good. That is the first rule. I do not know whether your Lordships will know Rule 2 of war. It is: "Do not go fighting with your land armies in China". It is a vast country, with no clearly defined objectives.

The End of Patience
The neocon psycho Michael Leeden was quoted as saying, "Every ten years or so, the United States needs to pick up some small crappy little country and throw it against the wall, just to show the world we mean business." Ironically, the Russians have a similar expression where periodically Russia needs to rouse itself and sort out the mess in Europe. The Teutons, the Poles, the French, the Central Powers, the Nazis… It takes a lot to rouse the bear.
The Russians went into Ukraine to put an end to eight years of shelling of the cities of the Donbas. Eight years of constant bombardment and the murder of civilians. Even as the Ukrainian armies have been smashed by the Russians, Ukrainian artillery and missiles are constantly being fired indiscriminately into the heart of Donetsk. The purpose is to kill civilians. After the Toschka U ballistic missile strike in the centre of Donetsk on 14 March 2022, the Russian MoD warned the Ukrainians and their sponsors that this was unacceptable and continued attacks on civilians would result in the Russians striking the decision making centres, including Nato decision making centres.
Attacks on civilian targets have continued sporadically. Several attempts were made to fire Toschka U missiles into Russia. Most were shot down but, as these were primarily armed with cluster munions, civilians were still killed.
In mid-June, Ukrainian artillery outside Donestk increased their bombardment of the city, killing more civilians. These attacks were ordered by the Ukrainian leadership and their sponsors. Russia does everything by the book and the legal formalities must be followed. At the St Petersburg Economic Forum in June, DPR president, Denis Pushilin formally asked Russia for help to stop the constant bombardment of Donestk and the killing of civilians. Pushilin asks, there is a pause to allow the warning to sink in - then Russia acts.
When a dog shits on your carpet, you’ve got to rub his face in it until he stops. From ships in the Black Sea, the Russians sent a salvo of Kalibrs to attend a meeting of the Ukrainian general staff. In the bland words of the MoD:
At 12.30 PM, Kalibr high-precision long-distance sea-based missiles were launched at a command post of the Ukrainian troops near the village of Shirokaya Dacha (Dnepropetrovsk region) at the moment when there was being held a working meeting of the commanders of Aleksandriya operational-strategic group.
The attack has resulted in eliminating more than 50 generals and officers of the AFU, including those of the General Staff, the Kakhovka group, airborne assault troops and units that operate towards Nikolayev and Zaporozhye.
At 08.20 AM, Kalibr high-precision long-distance missiles destroyed 10 M777 155-mm howitzers and up to 20 armoured combat vehicles delivered by the West to the Kiev regime over the past 10 days that were located in a transformer plant in Nikolayev.
At 07.20 AM, high-precision air-based missiles neutralised an echelon of personnel, armament and military equipment of the 1st battalion from the 14th Independent Mechanised Brigade that arrived from Vladimir-Volynskiy to the operation area in Donbass.
The attack at the disembarkment point near Gubinikha railway station (Dnepropetrovsk region) has resulted in eliminating more than 100 servicemen of the AFU, 30 tanks and armoured combat vehicles.
In 24 hours the Russians wiped out a significant gathering of the Ukrainian military leadership and general staff, along with NATO and US officers. The much vaunted US and NATO weaponry - M777 self propelled guns, tanks, howitzers, etc - were reduced to smouldering metal.
The Kinzhal has made its reappearance, used to penetrate a hardened bunker 37 metres below the ground. The Kinzhal, traveling at 8 times the speed of sound, delivers the equivalent force of 4 tons of TNT.
Gloves are off gentlemen. If you want to be (more) involved in the fighting in Ukraine - welcome.
And we haven’t even started talking about the 20,000 western mercenaries yet.
The above picture in the "Clown World"-section is very telling --> degenerates are ruling the West!!! :-)
As I mentioned here, 'time' is part of the Russian strategy. As the Russians advance slowly, the west pours men, arms and munitions into the cauldron at an ever accelerating pace, exhausting its own supplies and treasure, bleeding itself to death. With every new sanction boomeranging back into their faces, they destroy their own people, their own economies until the peasants come for them in the night with torches and pitchforks. There's a good analysis of this strategy "Don't Interrupt" on Larry Johnson's blog by Helmholtz Smith here: https://sonar21.com/operation-z-dont-interrupt/
